Cooke Capital, Inc. is pleased to announce CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Haley Tolitsky, will be speaking at the North Carolina Dental Society’s 2022 Women’s Summit at The Umstead Hotel and Spa on August 26, 2022.
During her presentation, Tolitsky will discuss how an once male-dominated field is now rapidly changing allowing more women to realize financial empowerment. However, why is it that women retire with two-thirds of the money that men retire with? Tolitsky will discuss finding the balance between work, family life, and personal time and finding the financial confidence to become more financially savvy than their male counterparts.
She has made it her mission to connect more females in finance and encourage other women to pursue a rewarding career in financial planning. She serves as a mentor for the CFP® Board advising other certified financial planner candidates, a mentor for “Invest in Girls”, a program for economic education, as well as founded the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of the Triangle’s Women’s Initiative. Tolitsky is also very involved with the FPA, serving as the Communications Director for FPA of the Triangle and PR Coordinator for FPA NexGen. She is an active contributor for TheStreet’s Retirement Daily column and has been featured by several news outlets, including CNBC, InvestmentNews and Investor’s Business Daily.
As Tolitsky states, “It is an honor to speak at this event, as my passion is educating and motivating women and the next generation to achieve their goals and dreams through financial independence. I am so excited to share this day of female empowerment with the NCDS, celebrating and uplifting our NC women in dentistry.”
The Women's Summit is a single day conference where women dentists throughout North Carolina share common experiences to help grow professionally, hone leadership skills and gain new approaches to balancing their work and personal priorities.
